Description

The Electrician is responsible for ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and industry accepted standards and Client Work Instructions. Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and abide by safety requirements at all times. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure in accordance with project specifications
  • Perform electrical wiring, terminations, and testing, assisting with commissioning activities for gas wellsite infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and site-specific safety requirements
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and project teams to meet deadlines and operational targets
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including job reports, maintenance records, and safety permits
  • Participate in site safety meetings, risk assessments, and toolbox talks


Skills And Experiences

Qualifications and Experience:

  • QLD Electrical Licence (current and valid)
  • Construction White Card
  • CPR/LVR Certificate (current)
  • Certificate IV in Hazardous areas - Electrical (not essential but preferable)
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation (not essential but preferable)
  • Experience working in gas gathering, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of AS/NZS electrical standards
  • Ability to work in remote locations on FIFO/DIDO rosters
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
