What You'll Be Doing
As a Dietitian at Tomaree Community Hospital, you will deliver high-quality clinical care to patients and their families/carers, supporting optimal health outcomes through evidence-based nutrition assessment and intervention. Your role will be essential in promoting recovery, wellness, and quality of life within a collaborative, patient-centred healthcare environment.

About You

In addition, employees must take reasonable care that their actions or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others. This role involves delivering advanced, patient-centred care and providing clinical advice to patients and their families or carers with minimal direct supervision. Care must be delivered within professional, organisational, legal, and ethical frameworks, reflecting evidence-based best practices and aligning with the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

Requirements

  • Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.

  • An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part time vacancies.
  • To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
