Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Caboolture, Qld for a Laboratory Manager. The Laboratory Manager will oversee daily laboratory operations, including performing oil analysis using advanced equipment like microscopic and spectrographic tools. Responsibilities also include managing quality control processes, coordinating research and development initiatives, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Additional duties involve training staff, documenting processes, and driving continuous improvements in laboratory practices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and handling Laboratory Equipment including ICP Spectrometer
  • Strong Quality Control expertise to ensure accuracy and consistency in testing
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D) to innovate and improve processes
  • Ability to manage staff and workflows effectively within a laboratory environment
  • Familiarity with oil analysis or lubrication technologies is highly advantageous
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field
