We currently have an exciting opportunity for a
Laboratory Technician
to join our Supply Chain team on
Night Shift (10.30pm to 6.30am).
Your role will be to support the quality agenda by keeping testing equipment calibrated, reliable and ready for every shift. You'll ensure accurate measurement of key attributes and coach team members on quality testing techniques to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve quality and food safety systems.
  • Perform analytical testing and calibrate laboratory instruments.
  • Prepare and handle chemicals safely.
  • Train and coach site teams on quality processes and testing.
  • Generate reports, analyze data and resolve quality issues.
  • Lead site-wide quality projects and internal audits.
  • Ensure compliance with product standards, safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Science, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Previous laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment (essential).
  • Strong technical skills in instrumentation and chemistry.
  • High level of mechanical reasoning and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong self-management, initiative, and ability to plan and prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to set and achieve targets.
