About the firm

Our client is a well-regarded boutique law firm with a history that spans over 50 years. They are conveniently located less than 10km from Melbourne's CBD in the Northern suburbs with easy access to transport.

Although they are a full service firm, they are currently looking to expand within both their commercial and litigation practices. They are known for providing tailored advice to a loyal client base that spans SMEs, individuals and families.

The culture is professional yet approachable, with a genuine focus on work quality, mentoring and sustainable hours.

What you'll be doing

You'll have the opportunity to specialise in either the commercial or litigation/disputes practice, depending on your background and interests. Both teams offer direct client contact, variety in matters and hands-on involvement.

  • Managing files with autonomy and support
  • Drafting contracts, agreements or pleadings
  • Advising clients across diverse industries
  • Contributing to a collaborative small team

What you'll bring

  • At least 2 years PQE in commercial or litigation law
  • Strong drafting and communication skills
  • Organised and confident in file management
  • Collaborative and client-focused approach
