We currently have a vacancy for the right individual to join our catering team as a catering assistant.

Kitchen / Catering Assistant - parttime / casual - This position is initially hours per day, initially 25 hours per fortnight, 3 - 4 days per week with potential to move to 5 days in future. The work involves afternoons and evenings and is for 46 weeks per year (school term time plus up to 7 weeks non-term time).

Our Catering Team

Our Catering Team is an important part of The Scots School Albury and our Boarding School providing excellent sustenance catering to our young people and catering for various functions.

About the Role

This position will be responsible for assisting the Catering Team to deliver high quality meals for our students, and for internal catering requirements.

Commencing immediately or as negotiated.

About the Applicant

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a commercial kitchen environment, knowledge of cooking techniques and methods and a current valid NSW Working with Children Check Clearance.

Desirable Requirements

  • Food Handling Skill Set - Statement of Attainment SITXFA005 or SITSS00068
  • Statement of Attainment in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA Certificate)
