We are seeking expressions of interest for the role of Senior Corporate Performance Officer in the Integrity and Performance branch for a period of 3 months.
About the Branch
The Integrity and Performance Branch aims to implement contemporary governance practices that promote transparent and accountable government.
Functions undertaken by the branch include coordinating annual budget submissions and performance reporting, drafting corporate plans and annual reports, supporting parliamentary accounts and estimates committee appearances, managing departmental integrity frameworks, advising on governance arrangements for departments and entities, and key strategic and business improvement projects.
About the role
This role will support DGS and its customers (currently Department of Premier and Cabinet and Department of Treasury and Finance and entities) to manage their integrity and performance obligations, delivering initiatives to embed strong practice and uphold the highest levels of accountability and transparency.
You will have well developed interpersonal and influencing skills and demonstrated experience in analysing and synthesising information within a complex and rapidly evolving environment. Key accountabilities include
- Provide insightful, impactful, and value-add analysis and advice on the branch's work program to senior executives, boards of management, audit committees and to other stakeholders, through meeting papers, briefings and submissions.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures and build understanding of these requirements across the business.
- Support the development and ongoing enhancement of corporate performance and achieving compliance with annual attestation requirements.
- Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders through robust advice and applying specialist knowledge to uplift stakeholder understanding.
