Job Description – Barista / All-Rounder

We're looking for an experienced Barista / All-Rounder to join our team at Pool Coffee. This role is perfect for someone who loves the café environment, enjoys being hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing consistently high-quality espresso coffee and cold drinks
  • Providing excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Assisting across all areas of the café (taking orders, running food, clearing tables, cash handling)
  • Supporting the team with set-up, pack-down, and maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Following food safety, hygiene, and uniform standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 1–2 years barista experience in a busy café environment
  • Confidence in dialing in grinders, handling high volume, and maintaining quality under pressure
  • Ability to work solo on the machine managing at least 6–9 kg of coffee per day
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
  • A genuine passion for coffee, food, and customer service

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.95 – $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
