Vacation Care Assistant – Certificate III Early Childhood Educator

Location: Ashgrove West Kindy, Ashgrove (Brisbane) Position Type: Casual – Vacation Care (School Holidays)

Are you passionate about working with young children and looking for a rewarding role during school holidays? Ashgrove West Kindy, a warm and welcoming community kindergarten in Ashgrove, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team as an assistant during vacation care.

About the Role:

As our Vacation Care Assistant, you'll support the delivery of fun, safe, and engaging activities for children aged 3 to 5 years. You'll work closely with our lead educators to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the planning and supervision of daily activities

* Support children's emotional and physical wellbeing

* Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive learning environment

* Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

Requirements:

* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

* Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)

* Availability during school holidays (exact dates flexible)

* A positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine love for working with children
