The Y offers a range of programs and activities including Vacation Care across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba, filled with exciting excursions and school holiday programs.

We are seeking a Casual Vacation Care Coordinator for our service located in Bowen Hills to commence in term 4 school holidays (Summer).

Located inside a gymnastics & recreation centre, every day at YMCA Victoria Point Vacation Care includes gymnastics and trampoline activities plus games, circuits, movies and of course - Tumbling

Our unique programs during school holidays help children learn about their world and develop a sense of self, all while having fun-filled moments and unforgettable experiences.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a YMCA Vacation Care Coordinator you will:

- Develop quality programs and manage the day-to-day running of the programs;
- Support and manage the Educators;
- Undertake administrative duties as required;
- Work collaboratively with families, the greater Victoria Point community and all internal and external stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with YMCA and OSHC Policies and Procedures.

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

To be successful in this exciting opportunity, you will need to have:

- A Diploma Qualification in Childcare, Teaching or other relevant area;
- Experience as a Coordinator or in a similar position;
- Knowledge and understanding of all relevant and current legislation regarding the provision of school age care;
- Knowledge and experience in effectively and efficiently running a high quality service on a day-to-day basis;
- Ability to prioritise, organise and manage your own workload;
- Excellent customer service, communication and liaison skills and an ability to build long-lasting relationships within the Victoria Point community
- Demonstrated sound computing skills including Qikkids and Microsoft Office Suite;
- First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
