A Risk, Audit and Performance Committee has been operating as an expert advisory and assurance panel to the Chief Executive of the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing for seven years. The Committee meets at least four (4) times per year and independent members receive a fee for each meeting attended and reimbursement of certain travelling expenses. The Agency is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified people to be an independent member of its Risk, Audit and Performance Committee for a period of up to 2 years.

We are seeking an independent member with experience in oversight of strategic and corporate performance. The successful member will bring:

  • advanced strategic planning and corporate performance capabilities (essential)
  • experience at an executive or management level (essential)
  • experience in business development
  • highly developed communication skills
  • an ability to build strong stakeholder relationships; and
  • a commitment to the successful future of the Agency.
