Zweck is an internal Group Services division that partners withXelon Technologies.

Our Electrical contracting arm of Xelon Technologies, XT Electrical, specialises in commercial contracting works, from high end commercial interior fit outs and construction projects, multi-level refurbishments to industrial fit outs.

About the Role

We're looking for an organised and detail-driven Estimator to prepare accurate project tenders and costings for electrical projects across multiple sectors. Whether you're building on early career experience or bringing proven estimating expertise, this role offers genuine scope to grow.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing take-offs, estimates, and tender documentation
  • Reviewing drawings, plans, and specifications for scope requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and negotiate pricing
  • Maintaining up-to-date cost databases and pricing sheets
  • Issuing RFQs and following up on outstanding quotes
  • Supporting project handovers with operations teams
  • Ensuring all estimating documentation is filed accurately and on time
  • Contributing to continuous improvement in estimating processes

About You

You're confident working with numbers, plans, and people—and you know how to deliver work that's accurate, on-time, and well-presented.

You'll bring:

  • 1–3 years' experience in electrical, construction, or estimating (trade or office-based)
  • Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems. Experience with EstimateOne advantageous
  • Confidence in reading and interpreting technical plans and specifications
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • A proactive approach and ability to manage competing priorities
  • A valid Driver Licence and Construction White Card
