Tender | Grant Writer

FULLTIME

Our consultancy firm, strategically located in the vibrant Perth CBD, is on the lookout for a talented Tender and Grant Writer. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of proposals, bids, grant applications, and related deliverables like prequalifications and presentations for our valued clientele.

As the driving force behind our submission efforts, you will work hand-in-hand with clients, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and synthesize all relevant information, ensuring our submissions resonate with the client's unique needs and aspirations.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposal narratives that highlight the organization's capabilities, experience, and unique value proposition.
  • Operating as the central point of contact for Client's proposal/tender/grant requests
  • Analysis of the proposal/tender/grant requirements against the Client's core business and capabilities to ensure compliance and responsiveness to buyer's issues and needs
  • Develop highly effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Work within our internal bid processes that govern the Client's bid
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned

Your IT skills set should incorporate:

  • MS Word
  • MS Excel
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Use of AI

Your experience should be:

  • Over two years working on tenders and proposal submissions
  • Relevant qualifications with a solid academic track record
  • A self-starter who can work independently and also contribute to a team environment
  • High level of oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Confidence in dealing with people and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Association for Proposal Management Professionals accreditation is preferred, but not necessary
  • A flair for graphic design or artistic input would be desirable but not essential.
