An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in Operational Readiness, Commissioning, and Safety Oversight to join a major processing operation in the gold sector.

In this role, you'll act as the company representative overseeing multiple concurrent projects, providing leadership, technical oversight, and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of upgrades and commissioning activities.

You'll play a key part in Stage 1 & 2 Processing Facility upgrades and commissioning, while supporting a range of operational improvement projects through safety inspections, compliance monitoring, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support multiple projects through construction, commissioning, and readiness stages
  • Provide safety oversight, auditing, and compliance in line with PCBU safety management systems
  • Facilitate inspection, verification, and approval of contractor equipment and works
  • Monitor contractor performance – cost, schedule, resources, and progress tracking
  • Conduct QA/QC checks and ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications
  • Support operational documentation and reporting requirements
  • Ensure all works are completed safely and to regulatory and company standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven Operational Readiness and Commissioning experience in gold or mineral processing operations
  • Strong Safety Leadership and field inspection experience
  • 10+ years in a senior or supervisory role within a processing plant environment
  • Demonstrated success in project supervision and performance management
  • WHS 2020/2022 Statutory Supervisor exam (or ability to obtain)
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management (desirable)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Pronto, INX, SAP, Citect, and Chemwatch
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
