Nepean Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Enrolled Nurse to join our dynamic Haematology Unit. This is an opportunity to grow your clinical skills while working with patients requiring treatment and support for a range of Haematological conditions, including Cancer, Blood disorders, and complex medical needs.

You'll be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, provide high-quality Nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, monitor patients undergoing Haematological treatment (e.g. chemotherapy, transfusions), assist in the assessment, planning and evaluation of patient care and ensure accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

You will bring to the role strong observation and communication skills, a commitment to patient safety, best practice care and a willingness to participate in ongoing training and education.

What you will bring to the role:

• Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
• Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
• Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work a flexible roster
