Driver Experience Program Lead

The Bend and Mallala Motorsport Parks are seeking a Driver Experience Program Lead to bring passion, structure, and innovation to our customer programs, including karting, drifting, four-wheel driving, and driver education.

About the Role:

This is a unique and dynamic opportunity to lead the design, coordination, and delivery of premium driving and riding experiences at two of South Australia's most iconic motorsport venues — The Bend Motorsport Park and Mallala Motorsport Park.

As the Driver Experience Program Lead, you will be responsible for managing a broad portfolio of experiences including go-karting, drifting, off-road four-wheel driving, and advanced driver education programs. This role is instrumental in ensuring that each program is delivered safely, professionally, and in alignment with strategic business objectives and customer expectations.

You will oversee the full program lifecycle — from initial concept development and event planning, through to operations, staffing, compliance, and post-event analysis. In addition to day-to-day program delivery, you will contribute to the growth of the member program, manage fleet coordination, oversee simulator operations, and play a key role in the enhancement of the Welcome Centre experience.

Mallala Motorsport Park

Mallala Motorsport Park, founded in 1961 to host the Australian Grand Prix, is South Australia's motorsport heritage icon. Known for hosting events such as the Australian Touring Car Championship and the All Historic Mallala race meeting, the 2.6km circuit continues to thrive with driver training, practice sessions, and drifting. In 2022, the park added go-karting to its offerings, enriching its legacy of innovation and excitement. Together with Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, Mallala is part of a family dedicated to preserving motorsport history while delivering thrilling, modern experiences.

What will you be responsible for?

• Develop, deliver, and manage premium driver and rider experiences
• Create and implement training and education programs across all disciplines
• Coordinate and instruct events, from setup to execution and reporting
• Manage internal and external personnel, vehicles, and assets
• Collaborate on commercial partnerships and government engagements
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and safety compliance
• Manage fleet logistics and simulators, and support the Welcome Centre
• Contribute to member program delivery and strategic growth

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 3+ years in a similar experience-driven or motorsport/driver education role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership in program or event delivery
• Competence in budget and P&L management
• A passion for motorsport, training, and customer engagement
• Current Drivers License
• Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
