Help build the future of Melbourne with Victoria's Big Build

We have a position available for a Construction Site Office Cleaner for an eligible and driven Cleanerwho has the availability to work 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday in Bundoora.

Requirements

Candidates must hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship or have a visa that allows full time work.

Hold a current White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate)

If you do not have one you must be prepared to obtain one at your own cost before starting.

Hold a current Working with Children Check

If you do not have one you must be prepared to obtain one at your own cost before starting.

Responsibilities & Skills

The successful candidates will be hands on and will not only ensure the highest level of attention to the cleanliness of the facilities but also ensure the smooth operation of the handover process to other staff when required.

Responsibilities will include:

  • General commercial cleaning
  • Touch Point Cleaning
  • Stock control
  • Maintaining of WH&S policies and procedures.

Skills/experience for:

  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Experience in using commercial cleaning equipment
  • Minimum of 1+ years commercial cleaning experience required
  • Good communication skills and a fluency in English
  • Ability to work within a team and under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • A high level of motivation and initiative

You must be well presented; long trousers and steel toe cap boots are required but all other uniform will be provided

Rewards

This position pays according to the Cleaning Services Award 2020

4 weeks paid holiday per year (on accrual) - 2 weeks must be taken during the Christmas/New Year period as site shuts down - exact dates TBC

2 weeks paid personal/carers leave per year (on accrual)
