About the Role

As a Business SME, Trade Surveillance in our Team, you'll play a key role in helping to assist the Market Surveillance, Trade Control, and Market Risk functions in Trade Surveillance Transformation Project by providing deep functional, operational and technical expertise in designing, developing, testing & deploying controls. Your role requires to co-ordinate with internal & external stakeholders / vendors, Project Business Analysts and Business control owners. You will be self-directed, with the ability to proactively identify and analyse problems, and propose viable solutions.

What will your day look like?

As a Business SME, Trade Surveillance, you will:

• Minimise financial losses to ANZ through timely delivery of fit-for-purpose projects to business requirements
• Work effectively with internal customers to build and maintain appropriate controls across conduct and financial risks
• Work with business control owners, technology development & projects teams to ensure timely completion of tasks / projects
• Be able to multi-task, manage inconsistent workflow and work independently

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Deep understanding of trading activity, prior extensive experience in trade surveillance, trading or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of Murex and other Markets Trade Capture systems.
• Documenting functional requirements, business control requirements. Process and workflow mapping skills (MS Visio or equivalent)
• Must have strong self-awareness, a team-oriented approach to problem-solving and an ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment preferably with some international experience
• Strong quantitative skillset - data analysis and insights, reporting
