About the role

Dental Pearls is looking for an Full/Part Time Dental Assistant to join the team in Brisbane City, QLD be optimal if commuting to Morningside is possible. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dental professionals and ensuring the smooth running of the practice. With a focus on providing exceptional patient care, this position offers the chance to work in a collaborative and patient-centric environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the dentist during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising equipment, and passing instruments
  • Ensuring the dental surgery is well-stocked with necessary supplies and materials
  • Greeting and welcoming patients, and guiding them through the check-in process
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment information
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
  • 1-2 years of dental assistant experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
  • Proficient in using dental equipment and software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • A caring and empathetic personality, with a genuine interest in providing high-quality patient care
  • A team-player attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
  • Valid work visa or Australian citizenship/permanent residency required
