About the role

As the Foreman - Commercial Landscape Construction at Leathwood, you will play a vital role in leading and overseeing the execution of complex commercial landscaping projects. This full-time position will see you managing a team of landscape construction workers to deliver high-quality outdoor environments for our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of commercial landscaping projects, from site preparation to final installation
  • Manage and delegate tasks to a team of landscape construction workers, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standard
  • Liaise with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise on site and implement effective solutions
  • Monitor and maintain quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout the construction process
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team as needed
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our landscaping processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Foreman or Supervisor in commercial landscape construction
  • Proven track record of leading teams to successfully deliver complex outdoor projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to overcome challenges on site
  • Thorough understanding of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Certification in Horticulture, Landscape Construction, or a related field is highly desirable
