Your Role

In this role, you'll walk alongside young people aged 12–25, guiding them from first contact through to tailored care planning, counselling, and connecting them with the services they need. You'll play a key role in ensuring young people, their families, and carers feel empowered, understood, and never alone on their journey.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring

  • Tertiary level degree in social work, psychology, nursing or other Allied Health profession or have completed relevant study in these fields and willing to be employed provisionally to seek registration
  • Experience in the delivery or willingness to deliver of both individual and group counselling.
  • Ability to effectively weigh and evaluate personal needs, client needs and the aims and policies of the agency and to respond and negotiate these competing needs as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of clinical risk or willingness to learn.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively develop and maintain positive relationships, networks and therapeutic relationships with young people.
