Hourly Rate: $38.15 – $39.39

As Assistant Director (2IC), you will:

  • Support the Centre Director in leading the day-to-day operations of the centre
  • Help manage staffing, enrolments, compliance and parent communication
  • Mentor and guide the educator team to ensure high standards of care and education
  • Assist in implementing quality improvement plans and meeting NQS standards
  • Step into the Director role as needed during absences
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, team members, and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education (as recognised by ACECQA)
  • Valid Working With Children Check
  • First Aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis training
  • Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
  • Previous experience in a leadership role such as 2IC, Assistant Director, or similar
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude and strong leadership presence
  • Willing to support when needed
