What we're looking for

  • Our centre is currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Chantel's with the opportunity to work 3-4 days to flexibly suite their lifestyle.
  • We are keen to meet people who believe in the need for high quality care and have a desire to make a difference in children's lives each day they come to work.

Early Childhood Teacher Desirable Skills Include:

-Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching. New graduate or finale year study welcome.

  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development and the ability to design and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues
  • A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families
  • A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification

Your role will be:

  • To assist in the caring of the children and meeting of their needs.
  • Work alongside a team of experienced staff to manage the room cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Contribute ideas to the planning and implementing of the daily curriculum.
  • Learn how to respond to children's cues.
  • Follow services policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Staff Meetings.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word.
  • Quick Learner.
  • Effective Communication Skills.

A Childcare Trainee

We are keen to meet the right applicant to join our highly motivated team whilst undertaking a Certificate 3 in Children's Services (Traineeship).

This position best suits anyone over the age of 18 years, with no prior qualifications (in any field).

A childcare Certificate lll

A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education (Certificate III in Children's Services)

In order to be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Be happy, friendly and energetic with a strong attitude to teamwork.

The role will be to work alongside our long-time experienced staff in the Baby and Toddler age group.
