About us
Chantel Learning Childcare Centre is a long day care service which offers care for children aged between 6 weeks to 6 years. Our service strives to provide children with the foundation of early learning and the skills needed to flourish and grow. Our Service operates from 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
About the role
Our Centre is currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for an Immediate start at our team at Chantel's with the opportunity to part time Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday or full time from 9:00am to 5pm (Hours and wages are subject to negotiation depending on level of experience. A full-time position can be offered to the right candidate).
Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Be Committed to deliver high quality care and National Quality Framework high quality indicators
· Be innovative, creative and motivated to contribute and promote our Centre as a strong choice for families within the local community
· Can co-operate and communicate effectively with parents about their child-care needs.
· Promotes strong Parent/Family / Centre relationships and fosters positive family-centre relationships.
· Can promote and maintain positive working relationships with other Educators.
· Actively supports and co-operates with other Educators in their child-care duties.
What you will need
The successful candidate will have the following:
An ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
Have a sound knowledge of the underlying principles of Early Years, gained through experience, education and/ or teaching
Holds a current Working with Children Check, or is willing to obtain one
Holds a current first aid certificate or willing to obtain this.
Experience in a Childcare setting is preferred, but not essential
