Crows Nest | Part-Time | Keep things moving and running smoothly

We're looking for someone who loves detail, takes pride in doing things properly, and can help keep our wholesale and retail operations flowing without a hitch.

This is a part-time, in-office role for someone who's organised, hands-on, and enjoys variety - from processing orders to keeping stock in check to making sure our customers and stockists are looked after.

We are Importante - a small but mighty business representing a curated collection of European artisan fashion and lifestyle labels in Australia and New Zealand. For over 13 years we've built a reputation for beautiful, timeless pieces and exceptional service.

Our wholesale showroom is in Crows Nest, right next door to our retail store, La Casa by Importante. We work with both trade customers (B2B - stockists) and individual retail customers (B2C), so our operations run across two worlds - and you'll be at the heart of keeping both humming.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, and dispatch wholesale and online orders
  • Liaise with couriers and clients for shipping updates and resolving issues
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with reordering, and help with stocktakes
  • Provide friendly, efficient customer service for La Casa online store
  • Support our retail team with stock, product information, and deliveries
  • Assist at trade shows and in-store events when needed
  • Keep operational areas and systems organised and up to date

What You Bring

  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Confidence with stock counts and order tracking
  • Comfortable working with couriers, suppliers, and customers
  • A proactive mindset - you notice and fix things before they become an issue
  • Able to work well in a small, busy team environment

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an operations, logistics, admin, or customer service role (ideally retail or wholesale)
  • Confident computer skills (Mac preferred)
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes
  • Experience with inventory or POS systems is a plus

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have worked in fashion, lifestyle, retail, or wholesale
  • Have experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms

Role Details

  • Type: Part-Time role, approx. 2–3 days per week (with additional hours during busy periods and trade shows)
  • Location: Crows Nest, Sydney (in-office)
  • Start: ASAP or flexible for the right person

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $26.55 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
