Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Insight Network Full time $120,000 - $250,000 per year

About the Role

If you attend a therapy session anywhere in the world today, there's a good chance your therapist will introduce you to Insight Timer to support your journey. Last year alone, nearly one million people began using Insight Timer at their therapist's recommendation.

We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to own and scale our therapists hub - the platform that connects mental health professionals with the tools they need to support their clients.

You'll own the entire roadmap for our therapist platform, driving both supply-side growth and maximizing therapist engagement. Today, 25,000 mental health professionals actively advocate for our free wellbeing tools. By understanding their workflows and building products that integrate seamlessly into their practice, you'll enable them to support even more clients with Insight Timer, whilst expanding the network from 25,000 to 500,000 therapists worldwide.

About Insight Timer

Imagine a platform which could amplify something as simple as your attendance into deep transformational shifts for humanity. A place where showing up was enough. Where each individual visit combined with millions more to trigger huge waves of health and happiness around the world. What would such a platform look like? Could you even build it? And more importantly, how would you protect it from becoming another Instagram, TikTok or Twitter which magnify the very worst of us.

If we can answer these questions, we believe Insight Timer's community will emerge as one of the most important companies of the 21st century. A place - not a product - which is capable of reversing the modern day health pandemic by harmonising the human spirit before problems arise. And if we get there... well, the opportunities are endless. Imagine a modern-day renaissance where health, belonging and purpose become the new definitions of happiness for hundreds of millions of people around the world, including you.

And all you need to do… is show up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Therapist Growth Strategy: Own end-to-end supply-side growth for our therapist network. Design and execute strategies to attract, onboard, and activate mental health professionals.
  • Client Tools: Build features that make it easy for therapists to share helpful resources with their clients. Create seamless ways for therapists to introduce clients to our wellbeing tools.
  • Research & Insights: Spend significant time with therapists - conducting interviews, understanding their daily workflows, and learning how they support their clients. Identify ways our platform can genuinely help their work.
  • Network Growth: Design ways for therapists to invite other therapists to the platform. Build features that naturally spread through mental health professional communities.
  • Product Roadmap Ownership: Own the therapist hub product roadmap. Prioritize features that therapists actually want to use and that help them connect clients with our tools.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years in product management with a proven track record of building and scaling supply side products or professional tools.
  • Growth Mindset: Strong experience driving user acquisition and referral mechanics. You understand viral growth loops and have built features that multiply user engagement.
  • User Research Skills: Comfortable conducting extensive user research. You love talking to users, understanding their workflows, and translating insights into product strategy.
  • Ownership: Thrives with full product ownership and accountability. You're comfortable building strategy, setting priorities, and delivering results independently.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator who can articulate product vision, present to leadership, and rally teams around shared goals.
  • Startup Agility: Comfortable in fast-moving environments where you'll wear multiple hats and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Benefits

  • We offer competitive salaries and options.
  • The role is fully remote but you must be willing to travel to Sydney from time to time.
  • Extra leave days are available for your well-being and birthday.
  • A generous L&D budget & wellbeing bonus.
  • We host a global company retreat each year.

We dial in from all over the world, and it's important that our team is just as diverse as our community of users, customers and teachers. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status.

Even if you don't think you quite meet all of the skills listed or tick all the boxes, we'd still love to hear from you.
