Brisbane College of Horticulture has been operating for 15 years

We are currently seeking trainers/assessors who can deliver any or all of the following qualifications

  • AHC30722 Certificate III in Horticulture
  • AHC40422 Certificate IV in Horticulture
  • AHC50422 Diploma of Horticulture Management
  • AHC51422 Diploma of Agribusiness Management

We are looking for trainers who can become a key player at Brisbane College of Horticulture. The job is available at either Brisbane, Cairns or Coffs Harbour

Candidates for the role must hold a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent), or be currently enrolled, and about to complete their course.

Essential Criteria

  • Qualifications in any of the above programs or industry equivalence.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the horticulture industry is required.

Desired Criteria

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or TAE40116) and/or a tertiary qualification in adult education or a related field.
  • Experience in assessment management, moderation, validation, and grading.
  • Familiarity with the aXcelerate learning management system or similar VET-based LMS.
  • Strong customer service ethic with the capability to build effective working relationships and develop community/industry networks.
  • Ability to adapt training to suit the needs of a diverse range of learners, including those with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds.
