Operations Excellence Program Manager, Flex

At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems that allows delivery partners to onboard, schedule delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, and more.

We are seeking an analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Operations Excellence Program Manager to help establish Amazon Flex as the preferred provider, help build our network of Delivery Partners and ensure that we are offering them the support needed to deliver on our customer promise.

The successful applicant will drive improvements to the end-to-end driver experience, optimize in-station operations, develop mechanisms to listen to driver feedback, and translate that feedback into tangible action.

This Program Manager will help us answer questions, like: how can we draw actionable insight from thousands of points of driver feedback? What innovative product and tech features will help solve their pain points? How can we identify those opportunities through quantitative deep dives? Key job responsibilities
- Ownership of key driver experience workstreams, including in-station experience and driver feedback mechanisms.
- Manage and coordinate large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders including Product, Technology, Marketing, Legal, PR and Operations.
- Confidently conducting deep dive analysis alongside presenting corrective actions for weekly and monthly business reviews with senior stakeholders.
- Working with Business Intelligence teams to create robust reporting mechanisms in order to maximize operational visibility.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly analytical and detail-oriented, possess superior inter personal and communication skills, and be comfortable working alongside the Amazon Logistics teams in a fast-paced environment.

A strong bias for action is an absolute must, and candidates must demonstrate a superior track record of delivering results.

A day in the life
As an Operations Excellence Program Manager, you will start your day by reviewing key performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement. You might collaborate with the technology team to refine our navigation system, then meet with stakeholders to discuss project progress. In the afternoon, you could dive into data analysis to uncover insights that will shape future initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 3+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
