With the current growth, Burchell Panels is seeking a passionate and dedicated employee who thrives in the automotive industry. This position will be located in Leongatha Victoria. This is a full-time position.

You will work closely with a small team, with a great culture and the ability to work as a team and unsupervised. Our workshop is equipped with some of the latest tools, equipment and facilities to assist you in producing the highest quality of work. Your expertise with Spray Painting and Panel Beating will go a long way in this role.

About the role:

The successful applicant will be supporting the team in automotive repairs. This position will be heavily involved with Spray Painting, that would ideally suit someone who is willing to grow and expand within their role and skill set.

What you'll be doing

· Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking and degreasing

· Mixing and applying paint to vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish

· Troubleshooting and resolving any paint-related issues

· Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

· Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

· Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

· Experience as an Automotive Spray Painter

· Trade Qualified Spray Painter - highly regarded

· Experience in Panel Beating is also highly desirable

· Strong understanding of paint types, application techniques and colour matching

· Ability to work accurately and efficiently to tight deadlines

· Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality

· Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude

· Valid driver's licence and own transport
