About the role:

Please note the successful candidate will commence as a casual for 3 months with a view of permanent employment.

Your primary role will be to operate in a busy environment, undertaking various jobs when required. Some of your key tasks will include:


• Spray paint


• Preparing surfaces for paint application


• Mix and colour match paint to meet the requirements of the job.


• Brush touch, paint/blend any defective areas of coated items.


• Clean work areas and spray equipment.


• To ensure all work is carried out to company policies and procedures.


• Meet deadlines and quality requirements to satisfy customer demand.


• Perform all duties whilst adhering to OH&S requirements.

The successful candidate MUST HAVE:


• Experience in industrial painting with small & large production pieces within the metal fabrication industry


• Have a good knowledge and recognition of painting and blasting


• Skilled in surface preparation & priming


• Current drivers


• Forklift licence (Preferred)


• Be self-motivated, punctual and reliable
