The Role:It's never been a more exciting time to be joining Navantia Australia, one of Australia's leading companies in the Maritime and Defence industry.Due to Navantia Australia's ongoing success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Capabilities Innovation and Efficiencies (CEI) Program Coordinator to join the team out of its Garden Island, Sydney office. Operating under the Design Support Contractor (DSC) contract, the Capabilities Innovation and Efficiencies (CEI) Program Coordinator is responsible for identifying, analysing and implementing innovations and efficiencies to:• Reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of Naval vessels• Enhance the capability of Naval Vessels• Promote Australian Industry Capability (AIC) opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:Develop, deliver and execute an Innovation / Efficiency Implementation Plan (IEIP)Manage the CIE Program to; proactively identify opportunities that reduce TCO, enhance capability and improve AIC and promote a culture of innovation, efficiency and cost consciousness.Conduct Analysis (including cost modelling and performance modelling) and Planning of innovation and efficiency opportunities.Promote the approval of innovation and efficiency opportunities with the Commonwealth.Collaborate with the Capability Enterprise to realise and promote collective innovation and efficiency opportunities.Report on the CIE Program to the Commonwealth through the Contract Status Report and the Contract Performance review.As the ideal candidate, you will have:A graduate degree in technical, strategy, leadership, business, or management. 3-5 years' experience in technology, business related fields. Experience in a management position is also beneficial.Experience from a position within an organisation involved with large Commonwealth sustainment or through life support projects.
