Are you a passionate teacher with a love for language, culture, and holistic education? Moreton Bay Boys' College is seeking a passionate and committed Spanish/English Secondary Teacher to join our vibrant learning community.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to teach across both language disciplines while actively contributing to the College's co-curricular, pastoral, and academic programs.

As a P–12 Uniting Church school, we value holistic education, character development, and a strong sense of community. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold the College's Christian ethos, participate in chapel and house activities, and foster respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

You'll report to the Heads of Department and work collaboratively with senior staff to deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences. You'll also play a key role in monitoring student progress, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver curriculum-aligned Spanish and English lessons with creativity and clarity
  • Prepare lesson plans, assess student work, and provide timely feedback
  • Monitor student attendance and wellbeing, and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and contribute to student reporting
  • Support College events, pastoral care, and co-curricular programs
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, appearance, and conduct

What You'll Bring:

  • Registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA frameworks
