About the role

Harvest 0n First is seeking a talented and experienced Chef/Cook to join our vibrant team in Maroochydore, QLD. As a casual role, this position offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the hospitality industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from our diverse menu, including breads, pastries, and other cafe fare
  • Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Collaborating with the team to optimise workflow and efficiency
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef/Cook in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and independently
  • Passion for creating high-quality, delicious food
  • Relevant food safety certification or qualification
