THE POSITION

  • Lead, motivate, and support the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations across all shifts
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and efficiently resolve any operational or service issues
  • Support the Cook and broader team with daily kitchen operations and service delivery
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control using Compass systems (including rostering and compliance tasks)
  • Uphold and promote food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
  • Assist in training and developing team members to build capability and maintain a positive culture 

THE PERSON

  • Reliable and punctual, with access to your own transport preferred
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience using Deputy for rostering highly regarded
  • Solid food handling knowledge; holding a Food Safety Supervisor certification will be an advantage
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with B2B clients and key stakeholders
  • Experience leading small hospitality or kitchen teams, with a hands-on leadership style
  • Passionate about great food, teamwork, and delivering an excellent customer experience
