We are now seeking a practical, design-savvy, and detail-oriented Project Designer / Estimator to join our national Projects team. This role will focus on drawing and scoping projects using Revit, quoting jobs, and coordinating closely with both our internal teams and our retail customers to ensure successful outcomes.

The Role

Working closely with our Projects team, you will take ownership of projects from concept through to installation. Your key responsibility will be to translate customer floor plans and requirements into accurate Revit drawings, prepare quotations and installation estimates, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create accurate Revit drawings, floor plans, and elevations based on customer-supplied plans and specifications.
  • Scope and quote projects, ensuring all materials, fittings, and labour are accounted for.
  • Liaise directly with customers (mostly retail stores) to confirm requirements, finishes, and layout preferences.
  • Work closely with our sales and installation teams to coordinate timelines, deliveries, and installation schedules.
  • Attend customer meetings and occasional site visits to verify dimensions or discuss design details.
  • Maintain constant communication with clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Assist in improving and standardising drawing and quoting templates within Revit.
  • Provide after-sales support and service coordination as needed.

About You

You are a hands-on, detail-focused designer or estimator who enjoys bringing retail spaces to life through practical design and efficient project management. You understand how design decisions translate into real-world installations.

You may come from a background in:

  • Drafting or Design (especially in Revit or AutoCAD)
  • Shop fit outs
  • Interior Design or Industrial Design
  • Engineering or Manufacturing

You'll also bring:

  • Strong Revit (preferred) or CAD design skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
