The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Survey Assistant to join our engineering survey team based in Perth. This role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative and innovative company, contributing to a variety of dynamic and rewarding projects in Perth, WA, and interstate.
Any given day you maybe…
- Working on any aspect of engineering surveying.
- Setting out all aspects of civil infrastructure utilising a variety of tools at our disposal to exacting standards.
- Survey and reporting of completed works complying with the relevant standard.
- Establishing control networks and benchmarks.
- Collaborating with the Project Team - work closely with the project team to stay ahead of project requirements.
- Technology and Equipment Management - Assist operate and maintain advanced survey equipment, ensuring all tools and devices are in good working condition and compliant with relevant standards.
- Compliance and Safety - Ensure all work procedures comply with project/state requirements.
Here's what we are looking for…
A person with survey experience that is wanting to become part of a reputable and experienced team working on some exciting and varied civil projects.
You must have:
- C class drivers' licence.
- Qualifications or are progressing your studies in either Survey, Spatial Science and/or Geometrics.
- Experience with Total Stations, GPS Equipment, Auto Levels, drone surveys, Survey Software and AutoCAD, is an advantage.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding or exposure to Civil Engineering or Construction.
- Understanding of survey procedures.
- Sound knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety practices.
- Team orientation but also be self-motivated.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality outcomes.
