We are seeking committed and qualified Early Learning Teachers to join our dynamic new Early Learning Centre. Play a key role in the exciting journey of opening a purpose-built Early Learning Centre with a team that shares your passion for early childhood education.

Expressions of interest for a 2026 start are welcome. This is a full time position, however, job share or part time options may be considered.

Pacific Hills Early Learning Centrenurtures young children in a Christ-centred environment where they are known, valued, and supported. As a ministry of the Pacific Group of Christian Schools, the ELC is committed to laying strong foundations for lifelong learning through a combination of Christian values, quality care, and play-based educational experiences. From their first steps, we nurture young lives with faith, care, and discovery. The purpose of Pacific Hills Early Learning Centre is to provide a Christian educational community as a centre of teaching and learning and serving excellence, founded on Biblically based beliefs, values and behaviour.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to articulate and model a Christian worldview and integrate Christian values into early childhood education and leadership.
  • Certificate CHCPRT025 – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
  • Current approved Working with Children Check (NSW)
  • ACECQA approved First Aid Certificate including anaphylaxis and asthma management and CPR
  • Sound knowledge of the NQF, EYLF (V2.0), and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Degree in Early Childhood
  • Previous teaching experience in the early learning environment
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative curriculum
  • Excellent programming skills
  • Computer skills
  • Outstanding teamwork skills
  • Motivated initiative taker
  • Knowledge of WHS practices
