Site Preparation & Foundation Coordinator – Residential Construction

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our construction team as a Site Preparation & Foundation Coordinator.

This integral role is responsible for scheduling and tracking the progress of all site preparation works and foundation pours, working closely with our trades and Building Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate site preparation and foundation pour activities
  • Track progress of works and maintain accurate project timelines
  • Liaise closely with Building Managers and key trades to ensure jobs are booked and executed correctly
  • Review wall and roof frame designs to confirm accuracy and compliance with project requirements
  • Assess engineering reports to ensure construction integrity and adherence to design standards
  • Identify and resolve site or documentation issues promptly to maintain workflow continuity
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams, consultants, and suppliers

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential construction, ideally in a coordination or scheduling role
  • Strong understanding of site preparation, foundation, and framing processes in residential building
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering reports, building plans, and structural drawings
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with trades and colleagues
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and construction management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach
  • Australian work authorisation at time of application
