This is perfect for a surveyor who has enjoyed their time in the field, still loves the industry but potentially wants a change of scenery to the office. You will still be a key point of call for our survey team as well as clients and take ownership of issuing plans. You must have extensive experience within drafting to be the right fit for this role.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Survey Drafter to join our team at Geosurv.
This role is mainly within construction drafting however you will assist with other areas of the business and get lots of diversity This includes SUI, Cadastral & 3D Scanning.
About the Role:
- Prepare Construction related as-built plans including but not limited to – Concrete slab (pre/post pour) surveys, Jumpform Surveys, Hold down Bolt/ Plate surveys, Fill Volume calculations (experience preferred, but training can be provided), and a variety more which can consist of 2D floor plans, 3d elevations, ceiling plans, and sections.
- Collaborate with and assist cadastral and construction teams, including site measurements and feature and level surveys.
- Produce area plans (measuring and drafting) in accordance with NLA, GLA, and GLAR guidelines to determine measured areas.
- Measure sites for the development of marketing drawings.
- Produce Deposited Plans.
- Complete work-as-executed (WAE) documentation.
Role Requirements:
- Diploma in Surveying or a related field.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (office/site).
- Proficiency in Civil 3D (preferred) or AutoCAD
- You must have experience in BOTH drafting and surveying to be considered for this role.
- Australian Citizen or PR
