The Role

Ensure service delivery is timely, responsive and aligned with individual client needs, while meeting regulatory, quality and organisational standards. some of the main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Coordinating services to elders in their home, employing a 'client needs' mentality.
  • Coordinate the delivery of in-home services to elders living at home according to stakeholder requirements, quality standards and program guidelines.
  • First point of contact for clients for service arrangements.
  • Representing MiCare externally to engage different stakeholders.
  • Manage and facilitate the transfer of information across all stakeholders efficiently.
  • Support Personal Care Assistants in the delivery of services.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications

  • A qualification relevant to the role and function of this position such as a certificate III in Business Administration, Aged Care.

Experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs including high level experience in Excel, Word and Outlook and rostering programs.
  • High level administration skills, including data entry, and computer operations.
  • Knowledge of the Home Care Standards and compliance.
  • Working understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
  • Working knowledge of employment Awards and EBAs relevant to Direct Care staff.
  • Understanding of the ageing process.
  • Previous experience in rostering and coordinating, preferably in Aged Care services environment.
  • Experience with Client Management Systems, such as AlayaCare.
  • Previous experience with general office duties and inbound calls.
