The Opportunity
Join our team at the Artarmon Transfer Station as a
Transfer Station Operator
and play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

We're looking for a reliable, safety-focused operator who enjoys hands-on work and can help manage the movement of trucks and trailers throughout the day.

  • Staging and moving trucks and trailers for loading and quick changeovers
  • Using a backhoe to assist with overweight or compacted trailers
  • Keeping the area behind packer units clean and tidy
  • Communicating with drivers and directing tipping locations
  • Supporting safe, efficient daily operations

About You

  • Current Heavy Combination (HC) licence – unrestricted
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Good mechanical aptitude and attention to safety
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
