About the role

  • Lead the month-end close process and reporting, with ownership of key areas including CAPEX, leases, and cashflow.
  • Manage
    lease accounting
    in line with
    IFRS16
    , ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Analyse and report financial results and metrics, identifying trends and assessing risks in a healthcare context.
  • Support half-year and annual reporting cycles, including contributing to audit processes in a highly regulated environment.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning focused on key growth drivers in healthcare operations.
  • Maintain strong understanding and ownership of IFRS16 compliance.
  • Drive process improvements and system implementation projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supervise, support, and mentor members of the Accounting Team, including reviewing work of junior accountants.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as required.

About the Candidate

  • Full Qualified CA or CPA
  • Strong understanding leading month end process.
  • Ability to partner and communicate with the senior executive team
  • Experience within a Big 4 or Mid Tier Accounting Firm.
