High Risk Trainer / Assessor

Mandurah Safety & Training Services Pty Ltd (MSTS) is a National RTO, operating out of various locations in Western Australia.

We offer training in WP, LF, DG, RB, SI, CV, CN, CO, Earthmoving, Work Safely at Heights, Confined Space Entry, First Aid (& CPR), Portable Fire Fighting, Hot Works, Work Permits, Low Voltage Rescue, Fire Warden, Manual Handling, as well as site specific training for various clients.

We currently have an opportunity for a High-Risk Worksafe WA Assessor, who ideally can also deliver other assorted courses.

This is a full-time permanent position, with an attractive salary package.

The position is based on a 5 day week and does call for onsite training (Nor West WA region) for our clients. You would work 2 (5 day weeks) in our Port Hedland Branch followed by 1 (5 day) week in our Mandurah Branch.

Your responsibilities would include facilitating a wide range of high-quality training sessions in high-risk units of competency, as well as other nationally recognised courses and conducting verification of competencies.

To be considered for this position, essentialcriteria include;

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the construction/mining industry.
  • Hold Worksafe Assessor qualifications in DG, RB, LF, WP.
  • Qualified in Cert IV Training & Assessing (TAE40110 or TAEASS502), including LLN & Design & Develop assessment tools.
  • Have completed SWH & CSE training and have worked at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.

Candidates would be considered highly desirable if they also satisfy the following;

  • Have completed Fire/Hot Work/First Aid/LVR Training and have vocational competency within these areas.

Total Salary Package depending on qualifications, experience and frequency of site work.
