About the Role

We're seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team and play a critical role in creating a best-in-class application for our customers. As we continue to evolve and scale our digital protection product, you'll leverage your full-stack expertise to build scalable solutions that our customers love.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment where you'll work closely with product teams, mentor other engineers, and help shape the technical direction of our platform.

What You'll Do

  • Build and Scale
    : Design, develop, and maintain our mobile application using React Native and Expo, alongside a server-side built with .NET Core (latest) hosted on AWS
  • Ship Quality Features
    : Partner with our product team to deliver high-quality features that solve real user problems and drive customer value
  • Craft Exceptional UIs
    : Implement pixel-perfect, responsive user interfaces that provide an outstanding user experience
  • Drive Technical Excellence
    : Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and architecture discussions to ensure robust, scalable solutions
  • Champion Best Practices
    : Contribute to and uphold engineering standards around code quality, testing, CI/CD, and observability
  • Lead by Example
    : Proactively identify and resolve technical debt, improve performance, and increase system reliability
  • Mentor and Guide
    : Support the growth and development of junior and mid-level engineers on the team
  • Own the Product
    : Co-own product outcomes with a strong technology perspective, ensuring we deliver the right solutions for our customers

What We're Looking For

Core Requirements

  • 5+ years
    of programming and software development experience
  • Strong expertise
    in React Native and TypeScript, with experience consuming REST APIs and GraphQL
  • Styling proficiency
    with NativeWind/Tailwind CSS for efficient, responsive UI development
  • Full-stack mindset
    : Willing and able to contribute across all areas of our tech stack, while having deep specialization in at least one area
  • Database proficiency
    : Experience with both relational databases (PostgreSQL) and document databases (MongoDB)
  • Cloud experience
    : Comfortable working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and familiar with modern deployment practices
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)

Technical Skills

  • Experience with
    Expo
    for React Native development
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD tools
    like GitHub Actions or similar platforms
  • Understanding of modern software architecture patterns and best practices
  • Experience with testing frameworks and quality assurance processes
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and monitoring tools
