Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC-30A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.

Your Role

As a member of KC-30A Enterprise, you will support the Manager System Safety & Integrity Programs in the delivery of all ASI/PSI services required by the CoA MTCH/CENGR.

Your responsibilities will include mentoring and technical guidance of ASI/PSI engineering team members, Attend, present at ASI and PSI Working Group, and provide leadership on the requirements of Aircraft Structural Integrity (ASI) and Propulsion System Integrity (PSI) programs under Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASRs)

As a senior engineer, you will be able to obtain and exercise appropriate engineering authority (eg: RPEQ, DE or CVE under the NGA Part 21J/MTCH services) to review & approve ASIP/PSIP deliverables.

As a Senior ASI Engineer, you will bring a high level of passion and drive for the Aviation and Aerospace industry along with a dedication to continued personal and professional growth.

Having had extensive experience across the aviation industry you have the ability to make and provide advice on more complex problems, provider peer review and provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.

With a focus on quality, outcomes are key here so we are looking for a high level of commercial acumen combined with an engaging approach to collaborating with both internal stakeholders and the customer.
