Senior IOS Engineer

You will be a joining a reputable consultancy, who is looking to stand-up a native mobile engineering squad to deliver a number key initiatives for their end-client.

  • Contract rate:
    $900 - $1,000 p/d inclusive of super.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions adhering to best practices.
  • Actively participate in all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC), collaborating closely with cross-functional agile teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices, automated testing, and mentoring junior engineers to enhance their skills and productivity.

Experience required:

  • Extensive iOS Development Experience
    : Over 5 years of native iOS app development using Swift, with strong expertise in UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Graphics, and Swift Concurrency.
  • Architecture & Design Patterns
    : Skilled in architecting complex iOS solutions using MVVM and MVP patterns; familiar with Combine and functional/reactive programming.
  • UI/UX & Accessibility
    : Solid understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, UI design, and accessibility best practices.
  • Operational & Agile Experience
    : Experienced in DevOps, Agile methodologies, and production issue resolution; known for delivering practical solutions on time.
  • Tool Proficiency & Collaboration
    : Proficient with GitHub, Figma, Jira, Confluence; has a proven ability to drive process improvements and collaborate effectively.
