We are seeking a passionate and dedicated violin teacher to join our growing music school in Term 4. Waiting List of students ready to go

We are a small school that has been in the area for over 12 years. Focusing on a traditional approach to learning through encouraging practice, commitment and an emphasis on a well rounded learning experience.

Teacher Requirements and Responsibilities

  • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Comfortable teaching a variety of genres
  • Familiar with the AMEB syllabus
  • The ability to teach and unlock the potential of students of all ages and skill levels
  • Exhibit punctuality, reliability and the ability to work independently
  • Develop and implement personalised lesson plans for each student
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents
  • Strong ability to teach and engage students in a positive manner
  • Have a genuine love of music and nurturing the enjoyment of music in students
  • Comprehensive knowledge of their instrument / all styles of music, and must be able to impart this knowledge to our students.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 – $52.00 per hour

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Working with Children Check (Required)
