Role Description

This is a casual, long-term, on-site role for a second Violin Teacher, located in Parramatta, NSW. The Violin Teacher will be responsible for providing individual and group violin lessons, developing tailored lesson plans, and assessing students' progress. The role includes instructing students on music theory, technique, and performance, while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The Violin Teacher may be called upon to contribute to marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with AMEB Violin
• Strong understanding of Music Theory and Music Education
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students of varying skill levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous teaching experience is a plus

Compensation

• $30-40/hour + 12% superannuation
• Bonus $20 per student retained each term upon perfect attendance

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
