Based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Custom Denning is currently on a very exciting journey when it comes to pioneering the way for locally manufactured electric vehicles in Australia. We are currently working very closely with the NSW government to support government infrastructure plans of transitioning NSW buses from diesel to an electric fleet by 2035.

This initiative is a key ingredient towards contributing to a cleaner future of transport through zero emission vehicles.

Due to the growth of our team, we are always on the lookout for experienced Vehicle Body Builders. These are exciting opportunities for highly motivated individuals who are looking to join a stable and successful business.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

  • Trade qualified or high level of industry experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience is acceptable in lieu of formal trade qualification.
  • Minimum of two years of vehicle body building experience.
  • Proven experience bolting, screwing, riveting and bonding interior and exterior panels & extrusions which consists of aluminum, fiberglass, plastics, and glass parts.
  • Proven experience cutting and shaping panels of aluminum, plastic and fiberglass and attaching to frameworks using hand and power tools.
  • Experience modifying assembly line vehicles to special requirements to customer requirements.
  • Strong level of attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Strong level of integrity, honesty, and a willingness to learn.
