Job description:

Your Role
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of women, with or without children, experiencing homelessness. Join our new Women's Temporary Accommodation service in Swansea, providing trauma-informed, therapeutic case work support to help clients maintain stable housing, improve wellbeing, and access the services they need. You will be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values empathy, client-centred practice, and continuous learning.
Your Responsibility
- Deliver client-centred case management to support housing stability.
- Build strong partnerships with community services, government agencies and NGOs.
- Uphold clients' rights with respect, confidentiality and a trauma-informed approach.
- Develop, monitor and review case plans aligned with SHS guidelines.
- Maintain accurate client records and meet service targets.
- Supervise volunteers and students on placement.
- Conduct risk assessments and promote workplace health and safety.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
Profile description:
You Will Need
- TAFE Certificate IV or working towards tertiary qualification in welfare or related field.
- Experience supporting vulnerable women/children, ideally in a community services setting
- Knowledge of homelessness issues and local support services.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound judgement in crisis situations.
- NSW driver licence.
